Next year, two of our brilliant nurses, Charley and Rachel are taking on the London Landmarks Half Marathon! They are raising money for a charity that is very close to our hearts! StreetVet πŸ–€

Homelessness is a growing problem across the UK, with many of the people experiencing homelessness having a pet. In many circumstances, the pet was part of their life before they became homeless. The bond between many homeless people and their pets is profound and the health and wellbeing of their companions is often a major priority for their owners.

Life on the streets makes it difficult to access the fundamental vet care required to ensure the health and vitality these pets deserve. StreetVet is a registered practice with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons and has been established by a dedicated team of professional vets and veterinary nurses to bring that essential care to people experiencing homelessness and their pets across the UK. Together the StreetVet team takes their experience out of the consulting room and onto the streets of ever-expanding locations. Helping people and their pets living rough as well as those in temporary accommodation with the StreetVet Accredited Hostel Scheme, delivering the care and support required to ensure their combined wellbeing.

By supporting StreetVet you will be helping us to treat as many pets as possible across the UK that need our help and support. By enabling us to deliver this much-needed programme, we can ensure people without the resources to care for their animals can continue enjoying the unconditional love and companionship their pets provide to them.
