At Rivermede Court Care Home, we take great pride in the fantastic food created by our highly skilled chefs — every meal is made with care, creativity, and passion. 👨‍🍳

Today, our residents enjoyed a delicious menu featuring:

⭐️ Hummus with roasted beetroot, feta & pistachio crumble.

⭐️ Tender beef bourguignon with creamy mashed potato.

⭐️ A delightful mushroom, spinach & brie Wellington.

⭐️ And for dessert — a pistachio éclair with rich pistachio ganache.

Beautifully presented and absolutely delicious — another wonderful dining experience here at Rivermede Court!

Farewell and Best Wishes to Dot and Jean.

Last week we said goodbye to two wonderful members of our Rivermede Court Care Home family — Dot from Housekeeping and Jean from the Care Team.

Dot, your hard work, dedication, and cheerful spirit have kept our home shining and welcoming every single day. You’ve brought warmth and pride to everything you do, and we’ll miss your laughter and positivity around the home.

Jean, your kindness, compassion, and care have touched so many lives here. You’ve made a real difference to residents and colleagues alike, and your gentle nature has been a comfort to everyone who knows you.

Thank you both for everything you’ve given to Rivermede Court — for your time, your energy, and the love you’ve shared. You’ll always be part of our family here, and we wish you both all the happiness and success in your next chapters.

☕ Rivermede Community Coffee Morning ☕

What a wonderful morning we had at Rivermede Court Care Home ! Our talented pianist Paul filled the home with music, and residents joined in for a cheerful singalong 🎵💛. We were delighted to welcome guests from the local community for a cuppa and a delicious pastry 🥐☕.

It’s always such a pleasure to open our doors and share the warmth, laughter, and vibrant activities that make Rivermede such a special place to call home 🏡✨.

Antiques Roadshow at Rivermede ⌚️💍🪙

A heartfelt thank you to Harry and Will, the dynamic duo from Windsor Auctions, who joined us today to offer complimentary valuations for our residents, their families, and members of the public.

It’s a pleasure to welcome them to Rivermede Court Care Home , and we thoroughly enjoyed discovering the fascinating treasures that everyone brought along.

🌍 Celebrating Culture & Friendship at Rivermede Court! 🌍

At Rivermede Court, we’ve been celebrating culture with a difference — learning, sharing, and connecting through friendship and tradition. 💫

Earlier this year, Maruska travelled from the Czech Republic 🇨🇿 to experience our UK 🇬🇧 traditions and learn how we run our activities. And just recently, Hanka returned from her inspiring visit to G Centrum Mikulov, where she experienced their warm hospitality, rich culture, and wonderful traditions.

Through these visits — and our regular online catch-ups — something truly special has grown. We’ve exchanged traditions, shared gifts, played games (including a fun round of Rock, Paper, Scissors! ✋✊✌️), and most importantly, built friendships that cross borders.

We’re now meeting monthly to stay in touch and continue this incredible cultural exchange. ❤️
We have planned 2 sessions for November stay tuned 😉😊.

What started as two friends with a vision has blossomed into a partnership filled with learning, laughter, love and understanding how different cultures celebrates their own traditions. Here’s to more shared moments, discoveries, and lasting friendships between Rivermede Court and G Centrum Mikulov! 🌟
