On Sunday our CEO Janine taught a session on how to talk to your child about their mental health at Low Gillerthwaite Field Centre. This was part of a kinship programme that they ran for carers delivering kinship care. Whilst the parents were involved in the session, the kids got involved in tree planting, walks and orienteering. Here’s hoping we build more funding to deliver to this group of individuals and work closer together with low gillerthwaite!

AN AMAZING ACHIVEMENT REACHED! 🌟

Today marks a huge achievement for us and our local community — we are proud to share that a defibrillator has been installed at our Time To Change building ❤️⚡

This is a fantastic step forward in making our space safer and more accessible for everyone who uses it. Our building is home to several local organisations delivering advice and valuable sessions, these include Together We, Calderwood House, Citizen’s advice Copeland, Knit and Natter, Silent footprints and more, and this addition benefits every group, visitor, and member of the community who walks through or by our doors.

We would like to say a massive thank you to Bill Morley for your incredible support in helping us achieve this and for arranging the installation. Your help has made a real and lasting difference 💙
“I am delighted that you are receiving this life saving defibrillator. It’s vital that More place of activities have one of these lifesaving defibrillator’s.” – Bill Morley

We also have some exciting plans coming up, including new sessions in partnership with other organisations and some lovely developments within our café ☕✨

We have the fantastic St Johns ambulance coming to our welcome hub tomorrow Friday 17/4/2026 12pm – 2pm, all welcome!

Please keep an eye on our socials for updates we can’t wait to share what’s coming next!

Thank you to everyone who continues to support and helps us grow as a safe, welcoming space for our community 🌍💫
