Peacefully with Meg by his side at Muirton Ward Seafield Hospital, Buckie on Tuesday, April 14th, 2026, James, aged 87 years. Funeral ceremony to which all friends are respectfully invited at William Watson Funeral Directors, Blackfriars Road, Elgin, on Monday, April 27th, at 2pm, thereafter cremation private, no flowers please, donations if desired at ceremony to Forres Mechanics.

Funeral service, to which all family and friends are respectfully invited, in Steven Thomson and Son, Funeral Home, Clifton Road, on Friday, 24th April, at 11.00a.m., thereafter cremation private. I am always humbled when those families, still grieving, when they send me such beautiful and sincere emails, cards and messages.

After a tough week, not over, and a bit heavy, to come home to this warmed me.Its all anyone needs. to simply bash on!

Dear Wendy,

I am writing on behalf of my Dad, ****** and the rest of the family to thank you for the beautiful service you provided at my mum Mary's funeral on 21.4.26.

You managed to enable us to celebrate her life and invoke memories with dignity and sincerity and it inspired many conversations and laughs later!
Your attention to detail, care and humour made everything easier to bear at a difficult time.

Please accept our sincere thanks and warmest wishes. We were sorry not to get the chance to speak to you to thank you after the service.
