Peacefully, at Anderson’s Care Home, Elgin, on Thursday, 29th January 2026, Vera, aged 100 years. Loving wife of the late Alastair, devoted mum to Sandra, Linda and Anne; sister to Irene; loving grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, mother in law and friend to many.

Funeral service to be held at Moray Crematorium on Wednesday, 11th February, at 2:30pm. All family and friends respectfully invited. Family flowers only please, but donations, if desired, may be given to Anderson’s Care Home.

The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the staff at Anderson’s for the care and kindness shown to Vera over the last 4½ years.

Beloved wife of the late Hugh, much loved mum of Derek, Belinda, John and Stephen, dear mother-in-law to Jimmy, Silvia, Sonja and Annmarie, a deeply loving gran and great-gran, and a good friend to many.
