Life’s busy… but it’s the wee moments that matter most 💜

Last weekend we had the honour of delivering a beautiful wedding ceremony—full of love, laughter, and new beginnings.

This weekend’s a bit different…
we’ve got our wee grandson Leo here and we’re soaking up those special family moments that mean everything.

It’s a good reminder—no matter how busy life gets—
ye’ve still got to take a minute, slow down, and just be.

We’ll still be in the rooms this weekend, holding space for anyone that needs a wee lift, a reading, or some time to reconnect and clear the head.

Monday Morning Reflections 💜

It’s that time again… Monday morning.

The alarm goes off, and we’re faced with a choice—how we show up for the week ahead.

After a truly special weekend with our grandson Leo—our first full weekend having him to ourselves—I’m feeling grateful (and yes… a wee bit tired! 😅). Getting used to a little baby again, the late nights, the cuddles… every moment was worth it.

We also managed to get our new sign up outside the premises, and spent time with our wonderful holistic friends Lyndia Melvin full of great energy, treatments, and plenty of love.

So this morning reminded me of something important…

We choose life.

We choose to keep going.

We choose to invest in ourselves.

Even when we’re tired. Even when things feel tough.

Because the love we give out… always finds its way back. And the rewards are always worth it.

A new chapter begins at 5 Thunderton Place, Elgin for A Happy Medium and Angel-A Holistics.

We’re in a great central spot, just across from TK Maxx with parking nearby, close to local shops, pubs, restaurants, and only a 5-minute walk from the bus station.

With our new Reading Room and Treatment Room, new websites coming soon, my new book on the way, and more exciting things to come, Angela and I are continuing to grow and most of all, continuing to serve our clients with care, guidance, and support.

New space, new chapter, same passion for helping others.

After being knocked sideways with a tummy bug that absolutely wiped me out… today feels like a reset.

Yesterday, I did what many of us were “trained” to do growing up… I cleaned. And I mean proper cleaned.

Door handles, beds stripped and changed, kitchen gutted, bathrooms disinfected, even the car got it.

And all the while, I could hear my Mum and Nana in my head… “get that cleaned up — what if the doctor or nurse needs to come!”

Funny the things that stay with you.

It felt like a mix of Covid deep cleans, offshore Sunday inspections, and good old-fashioned upbringing.

But here’s the thing…

As exhausting as it was — it was also healing.

There was something powerful about clearing the space while my body was clearing itself. Letting go of the bug and the fog in my head.

And this morning, I’ve woken up feeling rejuvenated. Clear head, settled body, energy returning.

It reminded me of something simple but important…

Everything passes.

Illness, tough days, heavy moments… even the storms in the world.

And just like a freshly cleaned home, peace and calm return.

With talk of ceasefires and a sense of things settling, maybe it’s not just our homes that need a reset… maybe it’s the world too.

Today feels like a clean slate, inside and out.

And on that note, I’ll be back working again and ready to support and serve my clients.

My website has even had its own clean-up this week — all the gremlins cleared out — so if you’re feeling the need for your own reset, you know where I am.
