✨ A Mindfulness Moment at 3:30am ✨
Wide awake at half past three this morning, I picked up my phone and watched a little video of my back garden… my wee fairy garden.
I created it a few years ago during a difficult time when my daughter was in hospital. One evening my wife was out with the girls and I was sitting at home feeling a bit low. I looked out at the garden — full of weeds and needing a bit of love — and I had a choice.
I could have gone out for a few drinks and drowned my worries…
or I could do something different.
So I went outside, pulled the weeds, felt the sun on my face and just breathed. That quiet moment turned into something special. The next day I used the money I saved from not going out to buy flowers and little ornaments… and slowly the fairy garden appeared.
Now when I sit there, with the flowers, herbs and the angel ornament with flowing water, it reminds me of something important.
Water teaches us to let emotions flow, not hold on to them.
To release what we’re carrying… and sometimes to ask for help.
Asking for help is often one of the hardest things we do in life. Yet when we pause, breathe and clear our minds… the answers often come.
That’s what true mindfulness is about.
And sometimes we just need someone to sit with us, guide us, or help us see things from a different perspective.
That’s part of the work I do — whether through life coaching, intuitive readings, spiritual guidance or mindfulness sessions — helping people find clarity and move forward.
With Mother’s Day coming up, I’ll also be available this weekend for readings, guidance sessions and treatments if anyone feels they need a bit of time for themselves or would like to treat their mum to something special.
Sometimes the biggest changes in life begin with one quiet moment… and maybe pulling a few weeds. 🌿✨
