Sports massage often carries a reputation of being just for athletes or gym bunnies but it can also be ideal for anyone with a manual occupation or even if you’re busy juggling the kids and lifting them up & down!

Sports massage is a form of massage involving the manipulation of soft tissue and is designed to help in correcting issues and prevent further injury.

The benefits of sports massage may include;
➕ Increase mobility and agility
➕ To help you mentally unwind
➕ Release tight muscles
➕ Reduce stress
➕ Aids with recovery from injuries
➕ Boost confidence and general sense of well being

💪 Clinical Sports Massage – 60 mins
£17 per session
📅 Tuesdays:
24 March – 10am, 11am, 1.30pm, 2.30pm
21 April – 10am, 11am, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm

✨ Each session includes a few lifestyle questions, postural check, focused massage + feedback.

This morning we brought together a few of our Essential Massage Skills, Access to Integrative Healthcare and Sports Therapy, and Year 1 BSc (Hons) Integrative Healthcare students for a relaxed meet and greet.

Students shared their progression stories, course experiences, and offered advice and tips to those thinking about their next steps. With tea and cakes on hand, it was a really positive and welcoming session for everyone involved.

One lovely comment highlighted just how supportive the groups are of each other - a real network of encouragement, guidance and shared learning.

A big thank you to everyone who took part and helped inspire the next stage of the journey for our future students.
