A grand job from the Access to Integrative Healthcare & Sports Therapy students this week who gave excellent mini massage technique demos! 💆‍♀️💆‍♂️ From soothing strokes to energetic tapotement, they showed off some serious skills and knowledge of their benefits. The only challenge? Their clients trying not to fall asleep during the demonstrations… too relaxing! 😅🌟 Great job everyone!

Interested in learning about Concepts of Nutrition in Therapeutic Practices? Would you like to develop your skills in this topic? Study at your own pace with this FREE online degree module starting January 2026, and we still have some remaining spaces ⬇️🙏🏼

This module is designed to provide a CPD opportunity in nutrition in healthcare. This 12-week online self-directed course includes learning materials which are posted online and you work through them in your own time, communicating with each other and your lecturer via discussions boards, forums and email. You will be provided with online resources to work through, with the support of your lecturers.

Interested in Clinical Sports Massage? Are you an existing therapist looking to add this therapy to your treatment menu? This FREE SCQF Level 7 module at starts 20 January 2026 ⬇️🙏🏼

This 12-week, face-to-face course runs on Tuesdays, 9am–4pm, and is supported by our Virtual Learning Environment (VLE).

You’ll learn how to assess and understand the causes of injuries, apply effective massage techniques across the body, maintain client professionalism and dignity, and provide tailored home and aftercare advice. The module also covers event massage and considerations for special populations.

Entry requirements:
✔️ Anatomy & Physiology (SCQF 7)
✔️ A qualification in massage

Progression:
Can support entry onto our BSc (Hons) Integrative Healthcare.
