Nero started hydrotherapy because he couldn’t swim. He wouldn’t kick his legs so his body would sink leaving his head bobbing out of the water. It didn’t take him too long to learn and now it’s Nero’s favourite hobby, he can jump into the water and sprint round the pool chasing the duck.

Something a bit different for a change. I think we are all guilty of singing to our fur babies, I know I do and my bairns think I’m silly but I know Scunner loves it 🎶🎤

Another job ticked off the list ✔️ the groomers room has just had a make over. Wetwall added onto all of the walls making the room brighter and easier to clean, plus all the colourful sparkles are nice and cheery to look at. Emma at Pawsitive pet care is chuffed.

Ian at Creative Joinery did the work for us. I chose Ian because he has already done a big job at my house, building really lovely shelving and cupboards and his dog Ollie comes to hydrotherapy every week and also has physio with Joy.

What more could you ask for, he’s an excellent dog owner, loves dogs and is excellent at his job. Plus he’ll travel all over for work. I will be having him back for more jobs in the future.

He’s strong 💪🏼 he’s fast 💨 he’s Super Ted

4 year old Ted had surgery on his left elbow last year. He loves working on shoots but the worry was he would never work again.

But now super Ted is back working stronger, fitter and faster than ever before.

Well done Ted, myself and Lewis needed a rest after today’s energetic swim.

Tara and Oggie. Both have been coming to hydrotherapy for about a year now.

Tara has issues with her hips and hind legs. She glides round the pool focussed on her ball, curling up her lip when ready to catch it.

Oggie also has issues with his hind legs and hips. He is opposite to his big sister. He woofs and woofs until he gets into the pool to chase his toy.

As well as hydrotherapy they both also have regular physiotherapy sessions with Joy.

Nacho is back to hydrotherapy after a bit of a break. It’s not his favourite hobby yet but one day.
His Predecessor Corey loved his hydrotherapy sessions, his mum knew how much it helped Corey so now it’s time for Nacho to feel the benefits to his help with his elbow dysplasia and cruciate disease. 💦

15 year old Amber has been coming regularly to hydrotherapy since 2022 after having cruciate surgery. This old girl is doing well and being spoilt rotten.
Her little brother Glen keeps a watchful eye on her. He’s not much of a lifeguard but he’s great at catching balls.

Pretty Piper was in for her first hydrotherapy session due to a suspected luxating patella and also to keep her in good shape.
Piper did great and for her first time ever swimming she swam like a pro 💦
