Hi everyone,

My name is Kathryn and I am a fully qualified Complementary Therapist with a passion for helping people to improve their health and well-being. My treatment room is based at 50 High Street, Elgin, where I offer a warm, comfortable and confidential environment where clients can relax and enjoy a variety of complementary therapies. My room is equipped with a fully electric massage couch which can be adjusted to promote ultimate relaxation. The air is scented with a blend of beautiful organic essential oils in my diffuser and there are always plenty of plush throws to keep you warm and cosy. I registered as a nurse in 2006 but decided I wanted to change my career. I went back to studying and in 2019 I qualified with an HNC in Complementary Therapies from the University of Highlands and Islands. In order to focus on my therapies I decided to give up my nursing registration in September 2022. Although I offer a variety of complementary therapies I have a passion for reflexology. Since qualifying I have gone on to complete Continuing Professional Development (CPD) courses and I am now qualified in facial reflexology, facials, Zone Face Lift, menopause reflexology, crystal reflexology, Gua Sha, facial cupping, ear reflexology, Indian head massage and crystal sole healing. I am a member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists and am fully insured. I am back in my room after a busy weekend in Inverness learning Reiki 2. It has been a fabulous start to this journey and I’m excited to see where it takes me.

Good morning… yes it is Saturday and not Sunday!
I’m posting my upcoming availability a day early as I will be leaving shortly to head to Inverness for my Reiki training and I won’t be home until tomorrow evening.

I have taken tomorrow off as I will be in Inverness for the weekend with my Reiki Master teacher, Joan. I did my Usui first degree Reiki with her back in January 2024, and now I am heading back for my second degree Reiki.

Ready for the day ahead…

This morning begins with deep presence and gentle intention with a flowing Lomi Lomi massage, using frangipani essential oil to help nurture and ground.

Next up is face reflexology, helping to invite balance and natural glow.
Then ear, cranial and foot reflexology, calming the nervous system and restoring harmony from head to toe.

Each treatment is a ritual.

One more client left for today 🤍
I spent the morning catching up on admin and behind-the-scenes tasks, then moved into a lovely afternoon of hands-on client work. There’s something so grounding about transitioning from screens to touch. I’m now finishing the day with massage and body Gua Sha — supporting the body to release tension, improve circulation, and deeply relax the nervous system.
Feeling grateful for a balanced day and the trust my clients place in me 🤍

My Story

Hi everyone,

My name is Kathryn Morrow and I am a fully qualified Complementary Therapist with a passion for helping people to improve their health and well-being.

I am based at The Therapy Room in Elgin, Moray, where I offer a warm, comfortable and confidential environment where clients can enjoy a variety of Complementary Therapies. The room is fully equipped with a height adjustable massage couch and a La Fuma chair which reclines back to the ideal position to promote ultimate relaxation. The air is scented with a blend of beautiful essential oils in my diffuser and there are always plush throws to keep you covered and cosy. Please note the treatment room is upstairs.

I have been a registered nurse since 2006 but decided I wanted to change my career. I went back to studying and in 2019 I qualified with an HNC in Complementary Therapies from the University of Highlands and Islands in 2019.

Although I offer a variety of Complementary Therapies I have a passion for Reflexology and Aromatherapy. Since qualifying as a Complementary Therapist I have gone on to complete Continuing Professional Development in Pregnancy Massage. I am currently studying various Reflexology courses and hope to have them completed soon in order for me to offer new and exciting treatments to my clients.

I am a full member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists and am fully insured.
