Last week an email arrived from Moray Council stating that they were reviewing the out of hours registration process regarding deaths that required urgent registration due to, “cultural or religious reasons”.

The picture refers to the 2022 census, I imagine the non-religious figure to be much higher now.

I do believe, if the minority of certain religious people in Scotland receive preferential treatment regarding death registration, then, the majority of Scotland should be afforded the same privilege on “cultural” reasons.

The culture being ……… equality?
