This year’s design is a classy look that proudly features the colours of the Canberra Raiders. The choice of colours is a special nod to two of our former juniors, 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐲 𝐍𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧 𝐒𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐬, who both progressed through our club before going on to represent the Raiders at the professional level.

Seeing players develop within our club and progress to the professional game is something everyone involved takes great pride in. Matty and Morgan both spent important years in our junior system, and their journeys are a brilliant example of what can be achieved through hard work, dedication, and the support of a strong community club.

By incorporating the Raiders colours into our 2026 away kit, we celebrate their achievements and highlight the pathway that exists from grassroots rugby to the professional stage. It’s a reminder to our young players that big opportunities can start right here.

Once a part of the club, always a part of the club, both Morgan and Matty kindly offered to model the shirts for us this week.

We can’t wait to see our teams wearing the new away shirt throughout the 2026 season!!

I get asked a lot if clients should, train, rest, compete, recover ?

My answer is always the same. It depends how much it means to you!

Risk and reward ⚖️

🏇Sara Cox is a horse rider. You can tell by the "W" postion of her hips - rotated inwards, with her knees narrower as she would be sat in the saddle. Not great for running 5 marathons in 5 days ! 🏃‍♀️😧

Even with the best support around it was clear to see the oain she was in, and any normal physio would have said after day 1, stop or it'll get worse. And that it did ! 🛑

But did she stop? No, because the rewards far outweighed the risks! 🏆

Despite the agony she was in, and im sure will continue with over the coming weeks, she's completed a collosal challenge, raising near on £10,000,000 for kids in our country! 👶🙏

She flown the flag for Gen X'ers who think they can't and in particularly women over 50 💓

We talk about Kevin Sinfield, a professional athlete, doing similar events and I'm not taking anything away from Sir Kev 🏅 but Sara had literally gone the extra mile through the pain barrier because the rewards outweighed the risks.

The message: if you want it you'll do it.
No excuses 🤐
