Telephone issues - There appears to be a national issue with the telephone service. At present the phones are working intermittently. We apologise for any inconvenience and hope to have these up and working soon.

Dear Patients,
Thank you for your patience during this extraordinarily busy time for the practice. As you can imagine moving any practice over to a new build can be logistically difficult and complex. We are now starting to pack up and move certain things across to our new build however as you can imagine there are risks of things not working correctly on day 1 so we will be running a reduced service for the next 2 weeks. This is to ensure everything is moved correctly and that we are able to provide the essential services with no disruption.
We understand this may be inconvenient but we hope you understand the process is a large one to undertake.

We have been engaging with our patients recently via various communication streams to understand the barriers and concerns. In the background we have been planning on how our new build will help us address the concerns raised. Please see what changes the practices are planning to implement in the near future. Starting with the launch of the new practice from the new build.

Some of our amazing staff and their friends have crocheted blankets and donated them to one of our local care homes 'The Old Rec'. Dr Asher is pictured handing them to Gaynor at the home who said.

'We just want to say a big thank you for our lovely crochet blankets that were kindly donated to our residents. They are already in use and keeping our residents nice and snug' ❤️

Thanks you to the hundreds of people that turned up on Saturday for our publicised open day. We were overwhelmed by the turn out, with in the region of 800 people attending the tours to view the new practice. We heard a huge amount of positivity about the facility and gave us an opportunity to hear patient views.

We have been made aware that although our system sent all the texts on Friday some of these were received a day late by some of our patients meaning some patients turned up on Sunday for the tour of the building. We can only apologise about the delay in receiving these text messages.

6. close contacts of immuno-compromised individuals
7. frontline workers in a social care setting
8. frontline health care workers, including both clinical and non-clinical staff who have contact with patients

Our practice will be closed tomorrow from 1pm for our monthly protected learning time. If you need help or advice from 1pm please contact NHS 111 and they will be able to direct you to the appropriate out of hours service.

This Saturday (8th) is the first chance for the general public to come and look around the amazing new facilities that have been built by the Partners of the practice. We will be providing guided tours for anyone interested in seeing the facilities. The tours will start from 10am and last tour will start at 1pm. Please share amongst your networks
