Christmas can be a difficult time for many, especially for those who are missing someone they love.

If you would like a quiet moment, our Memorial Service will be available to watch online throughout the Christmas period. Our memorial tree will also remain lit, and all are welcome to place a charm on the tree in memory of someone special.

Today we pause to remember.

On this Remembrance Sunday, we honour the brave men and women who gave so much, and we hold close in our thoughts the families and loved ones here in Whitby Village, Ellesmere Port and the surrounding communities who continue to carry their memories forward.

May we never forget their courage, their sacrifice, and the peace they helped secure.
We will remember them.

You are warmly invited to our annual memorial night, which will be held this year at St. Thomas Church, Ellesmere Port.

Please join us from 7pm for an evening of honouring our loved ones.

Following the service, our Memorial Tree in aid of The Hospice of the Good Shepherd will be reinstalled outside our premises in Whitby Village, please feel free to place a charm on the tree in memory of your loved one.

🎉 Huge shoutout to our amazing team member Lee! 👏

Lee and three friends took on the Macmillan Longest Day Golf Challenge — and absolutely smashed it! 🏌️‍♂️⛳

Lee, a local family man with a background working in a golf pro shop, completed 4 full rounds of golf (72 holes!) over 15.5 hours, clocking up over 50,000 steps — all in one day! 💪

All in support of a fantastic cause — the team raised around £900 for Macmillan Cancer Support 💚

An incredible effort from someone who brings that same commitment and heart to everything he does. We’re proud to have you on the team, Lee! 🙌

🍦Spreading a Little Joy! 🍦

This week, we had the pleasure of delivering ice creams to the wonderful residents at Vale Court Care Home. Seeing their smiles made our day!

At Andersons, we believe in giving back to the community that supports us, and sometimes, a simple ice cream on a sunny day can mean the world. 🌞

Thank you to the amazing team at Vale Court for the warm welcome, and to the residents for sharing their smiles with us. We look forward to more moments like this in our community. 💛

They did it!
Last weekend Sarah, Dane and the children took part in the Race for Life in Chester — and what an amazing day it was!

The children ran their hearts out (with big smiles on their faces), the littlest one cheered them on from the running buggy, and they crossed the finish line together as a team.

It was a special moment for all of us — full of energy, laughter, and a few tired legs by the end — but more importantly, it was for a cause that touches so many lives.

1 in 2 people in the UK will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Thanks to the incredible work of Cancer Research UK, survival rates have doubled over the past 40 years. Every step, every pound raised, helps to fund life-saving research and bring hope to families like ours.

We were proud to play our small part — and we’ll keep running, walking and cheering until there’s a cure for everyone.

Today, on VE Day, we pause to remember and honour the courage, sacrifice, and resilience of those who served during the Second World War.
At Anderson’s, we reflect with gratitude on the generations who gave so much for the peace we enjoy today.
We are proud to stand in quiet remembrance of our heroes—those who came home, and those who never did.
