🌼 𝑾𝒉𝒐’𝒔 𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒆𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒊𝒓 𝒔𝒑𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒄𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒏? 🌼

We’re still blown away by the incredible support we received during our Christmas clothing appeal — our community really is something special 💛

While our general clothing donations are currently 𝐜𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐝 (𝖺𝗌𝗂𝖽𝖾 𝖿𝗋𝗈𝗆 𝖺 𝖿𝖾𝗐 𝗂𝗍𝖾𝗆𝗌 𝗈𝗇 𝗈𝗎𝗋 𝗆𝗈𝗇𝗍𝗁𝗅𝗒 𝗐𝗂𝗌𝗁𝗅𝗂𝗌𝗍𝗌), we’re already looking ahead… because babies don’t stop growing!

Now that spring is officially here (HARRAY! 🌸), we’re asking if anyone has 𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐦 𝐬𝐮𝐢𝐭𝐬 or 𝐬𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐬𝐮𝐢𝐭𝐬 that will be outgrown by next winter to consider donating them. These will go towards our winter clothing packs, ready to be loved all over again.

We’re accepting 𝐬𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐬 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐨 18 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐬 — 𝐛𝐨𝐲𝐬, 𝐠𝐢𝐫𝐥𝐬 & 𝐧𝐞𝐮𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐬 👶

And the achievements keep on coming. Well done to Charley who passed her ACPT exam. This is the highest qualification a pharmacy technician can get and it takes alot of work to achieve it. Charley can now support our pharmacist in checking prescriptions and use her knowledge and skills to provide support and advice to our patients. We are all so proud of you Charley well done xx

We now have a recycling box in branch for old inhalers and diabetic pens. You can either hand your old pens in at the counter (please make sure the needles have been disposed of in your sharps bin) or you can pick up a pre paid box and return them yourself. Hand inhalers in at the front desk to one of the team.

Our amazing pharmacist Eno has been shortlisted for the Scottish Pharmacy Awards. Eno is the kindest person i know who gives 110% in everything she does. The care she shows her patients and the support she gives to our team is second to none. We are all so proud of you and will be keeping everything crossed for you on the big day.

Information post

There has been a Medicines Recall for Ramipril 5mg capsules.

If you currently take Ramipril 5mg capsules, please read the following post and if it affects you please get in touch.

Some cartons of Ramipril 5mg capsules manufactured by crescent pharma limited may contain Amlodipine 5mg tablets.

All packs of Ramipril 5mg capsules with Batch number GR164099 are being recalled as a precautionary measure

If you have received the impacted batch (the batch number you will find on the outer side of the carton beside the expiry date.

If your carton contains blister strips of Amlodipine instead of Ramipril, please make contact with us in the first instance. If your carton contains Ramipril 5mg you do not need to take further action.

If your unsure or have any questions please seek advice from your pharmacy or other Healthcare professionals.

If you have an impacted pack or previously received this batch and you believe you have taken Amlodipine and are experiencing any side effects please seek immediate medical advice.

Both medications are used to treat high blood pressure, however because your body may not be used to a different type of medicine, your blood pressure may become lower than normal and you may experience dizziness as result of taking Amlodipine
