Okay, Level 3 has become Level 4, but the advice is still the same. - We are still open, just make sure to cancel if experiencing symptoms or if you think you may have been exposed to the virus. Lets try to keep everyone safe.

Following the announcement today from scotgov, that Aberdeenshire will be going into level 3 restrictions on Friday 18 December, we just wanted let everyone know that we will be remaining open, and patients are still able to attend appointments

If you feel that you would rather postpone your visit, please call us on 01358 729312 and we can re-book the appointment for a time that suits you better. As always, we continue to maintain a high standard of hygiene within the clinic, and would like to remind you that the wearing of masks is mandatory.

Good news

After finally locating sufficient PPE, the clinic is re-opening on Wednesday 1st July with some changes to appointment times.
We will provisionally be open Monday to Friday but with extra time between appointments to allow for additional sanitizing to be carried out between appointments.
This may mean that if you have a regular appointment, your usual time may not be available, but we will try our best to minimize this disruption.

A return is only possible by following protocols and guidelines issued by the College of Podiatry, our regulatory body (HCPC) and the Scottish government. Unfortunately that means that you will be required to wear a face covering/ mask for the duration of the appointment, and will you will need to use the sanitizer when entering the clinic.

COVID-19 Statement.

Following the latest Government advice, we would like to keep all of our patients informed of our current position.

Currently, all AHP’s (including podiatrists) are deemed to be key workers, whether in the private or public sector, and as such we are advised by the Government, HCPC regulators and professional bodies that we DO NOT have to close our facilities. However as many of my patients are in the at risk groups, I have decided that the only safe and sensible thing to do is to temporarily stop taking further appointments. I have really struggled with this but feel it is the right thing to do. We will re-open as soon as practical and look forward to seeing everyone again once things have settled down.
