πŸ’™πŸ’› WORLD DOWN SYNDROME DAY – 21 MARCH πŸ’›πŸ’™

Today we celebrate children and young people with Down syndrome β€” their strengths, personalities, and achievements.

Down syndrome is a genetic condition caused by an extra copy of chromosome 21. Every child with Down syndrome is unique, with their own abilities, interests and goals.

πŸ‘©β€βš•οΈ From a physiotherapy perspective, children with Down syndrome may benefit from support with:
β€’ Muscle strength
β€’ Balance and coordination
β€’ Gross motor developmental skills
β€’ Posture and mobility

At Children in Motion, we believe in early support, building confidence, and helping every child reach their full potential.

πŸ’™ This year's theme is "Together Against Loneliness" - did you know Children in Motion supports a local charity called F6IT. Please use the link to find out more about F6IT: https://f6it.org

πŸ’› Let’s celebrate inclusion, ability, and community today.
