🎉🧸 Children in Need at Elstree View! 🧸🎉

We had the most wonderful time celebrating Children in Need with a Pudsey-themed tea party! Our residents were treated to delicious treats, cheerful decorations, and the incredible talents of pianist Tom Rose, whose heavenly music made the afternoon truly magical. 🎹✨

Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the event, sharing smiles, laughter, and plenty of Pudsey hugs! A big thank you to all who joined in and helped make this day so special. 💛

🎉 Happy Birthday, Raymond! 🎂

We thoroughly enjoyed celebrating Raymond’s special day in true style! He was treated to a wonderful performance by the fabulous Miss Balloon-a-Tron, who wowed everyone with her singing and balloon artistry 🎈🎶

She sang favourites like “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” and “How Much Is That Doggy in the Window” while creating colourful balloon rainbows, clouds, and even a little dog — much to Raymond’s delight! 🐶🌈

It was a joyful afternoon full of smiles, laughter, and plenty of balloons! 💕

Today we gathered to celebrate Margaret’s special day with a beautiful cake, fresh flowers, and plenty of warmth and laughter. It was such a joy to see her surrounded by friends, smiles, and the caring team who made sure her day felt truly special.

To conclude her Bat Mitzvah, Kayla joined our residents to make the blessing over the challah and enjoy some baking together. 🕊️💛

It was a beautiful way to share tradition, joy, and connection across generations — and, of course, the smell of freshly baked challah filled the home! 🍞✨

We had such a joyful celebration here at Elstree View — a beautiful cake, a fantastic live performance by the wonderful Franz Black, and a room full of smiles! 🎶💃 Everyone was up and dancing — residents and staff alike — making it feel like a real party.

Today, our staff and residents shared their thoughts on a meaningful question — “What advice would you give your younger self?” ❤️

From “always be kind” and “don’t worry so much,” to “cherish every moment,” the answers were full of wisdom, humour, and heart. 🌟
