£12 per class pre booked blocks or £15 per drop in class. In all classes we will explore the fundamentals of Iyengar yoga in a clear, straightforward, dynamic way. Classes are open level but perfectly suitable for beginners and those from other walks of yoga wanting to deepen their experience of alignment in the postures. A consistent practice under guidance is great for bringing strength, stability and mobility to the body and in turn the effects on the mind and overall well-being can be profound. It is a wonderful antidote to the bad habits our modern lifestyles encourage. One of characteristics of Iyengar Yoga is the use of props as designed by BKS Iyengar to support our practice, helping to bring alignment where it might otherwise be elusive, and to support to gain deeper release and rest.
“It is through the alignment of the body that I discovered the alignment of my mind, self, and intelligence.” B.K.S. Iyengar
I believe that yoga is for everybody but currently my training does not include therapeutic or pregnancy teaching so if you are suffering from a serious condition or think you might be pregnant it would be wise to consult a doctor first and and seek advice from a suitably qualified teacher, message me if you are unsure. Minor medical conditions or injury must be discussed in order to get the best out of the practice so please let me know. I will also offer my classes free to those in financial difficulty complete discretion assured.
