Our trainers have had a fab weekend assisting and observing an Outdoor First Aid course run by the fabulous prichard. It's such a great opportunity to IQA a fellow trainer and learn from each other. Picked up some great ideas which PandAid will be looking at implementing in our next courses.

Thank you The Port House Guest Accmmodation for a fabulous stay will definitely recommend your rooms.

Do you use chainsaws in your line of work? Got one in the garden? This fab safety video gives you loads of info on staying safe.

For added safety why not get your place on our Rural First Aid course where you can learn what to do if someone has an accident using a chainsaw or other equipment whilst out doors.

Head over to pand-aid.co.uk to book your space and find out more

🪚 Did you know? Chainsaws aren’t gardening tools.

Just because you can use one at home, doesn’t mean you should without the right training and protection.

Chainsaws are powerful tools that demand respect, knowledge, and proper PPE — not casual garden equipment. In the last decade, over 3,000 people across the UK have ended up in A&E due to chainsaw injuries.

Before you pick one up, remember:
✅ Respect – It’s a power tool, not a hedge trimmer
✅ Train – Learn how to use it safely
✅ Protect – Always wear the correct PPE
