PURPOSE OF ROLE
To identify and provide activities that enhances the lives of the elderly people living in the Care Home.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- To promote links within the local community
- To ensure the Home has a selection of appropriate activity materials/games available at all times to enable clients to choose what and when they would like to do the activities
- To identify skills amongst clients and staff to ensure that these are used to their maximum potential thus benefiting the whole home
- To display the Home activity programmes in all individual flats, entrance halls and Reception
- To encourage socialising across the Home
- To positively promote the companies activity policy
- To arrange monthly meetings with manager to discuss projects in and out of the Home
- To liaise with the Home Manager to ensure that fundraising is organised and supported by the Home staff
- To follow all companies policies and procedures including Health & Safety Policy
- To undertake training in activities
- To attend and contribute to Team and General meetings
