Loved teaching a virtual 1:1 Pilates lesson this morning to help tackle the sore neck and shoulders that one of my patients has been struggling with. If you are interested, contact me for more details. It's great for building "core stability" which helps to limit our chance of aches, pains and injuries. So important at a time when a lot of us are leading more sedentary lifestyles than normal.

The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy have confirmed that physiotherapy can continue in this lockdown. Of course, the high levels of vigilance to cleanliness and health and safety precautions will continue. For any patients who are uncomfortable with coming into the clinic, virtual appointments can be arranged.

Healthcare services, including physiotherapy, can continue to operate across the UK following new national lockdown restrictions announced yesterday for England and Scotland. This applies to both NHS and private sector providers.

Check out the amazing new website for Ely Complementary Health Clinic where I run my physio clinic from. Physio is so in demand at the moment that I’ve put on an extra half day every other Thursday- I think it’s all of the working from home niggles!!

Katie specialises in treating chronic or recurring issues with pain and dysfunction, in particularly lower back pain.
