Harness the power of your imagination with guided visualisation designed to help you release stress, ease pain, alleviate anxiety, and find inner peace. Therapeutic music with theta binaural beats associated with deep relaxation and mental imagery will also play gently in the background to enhance the experience. This class is your dedicated time for self-care, promoting improved mental health and overall well-being. Classes run for 30 minutes and involve lying on the floor so please bring a pillow and mat for your comfort. If sitting is your preference, chairs will also be available.

Expressing feelings fuels creativity.
In a world filled with deadlines, productivity goals, and the constant pursuit of success, we often forget one essential aspect of being human: our emotions. The ability to feel and express our emotions is not just a part of our humanity; it's a key catalyst for our creativity. The act of creation often begins with an emotional response, a way to make sense of what we feel.
In a world that often pressures us to suppress our emotions, it's crucial to recognise they nurture the seeds of creativity and connect us. We all need to hold space and feel safe in expressing them.
I often hear people say in therapy (and I've been guilty of this too) "I know this sounds silly but ...". It doesn't and there is no judgment held. When we permit ourselves to experience emotions, we unlock opportunities for inspiration, empathy, and solutions.

This week I did a talk around managing stress followed by a guided relaxation session with a lovely group in Ely.
It was great to have a really positive discussion around managing mental health and to receive wonderful feedback about the session.

For the last few weeks Lucy Thompson Hypnotherapy and I have teamed up for reciprocal hypnotherapy with each other.

When you're struggling with your mental health it can make your world feel small.
You may begin to see anxiety and depression as part of your identity and unable to see a way out of it.
I want you to know you are not the heavy feelings you carry. There is so much more to you than the limitations negative thoughts and feelings place on you.
You may not see it yet but there is a way forward and this begins with identifying what your life would look like without anxiety and depression holding you back. The solutions lie within the detailed picture you can envisage for yourself and drawing upon your skills and strengths (they very much exist).
I have worked with people from all walks of life and I can see what you're capable of. My job is to help you see it too so you can take the small steps forward to bring about the change you want to see ❤️
