Highland Wintering 2026 is happening... 🏔️

The Highlands in late November offer something powerful: cold, quiet space, and the kind of environment that naturally slows the nervous system down.

We’ll be working with crisp mountain air, open skies and pine forests to practise breathing with awareness ~ then gently applying it in real settings: waterfalls, lochs and rivers 🏞️

Not as a challenge, but as a way to learn how the body regulates when you meet discomfort calmly.

Between sessions there’ll be wood-fired saunas, nourishing food, fires, music, and plenty of time to simply be.

The aim isn’t intensity, it’s steady resilience and deep recovery.
This retreat may suit you if you:
• Feel mentally busy or overstimulated by everyday life
• Are curious about cold water but want to approach it safely
• Want to understand how your breathing affects your stress response

Why Coherence Breath Is the perfect January practice ✨

Winter isn’t a season for forcing fresh starts.
It’s a season for slowing, softening and listening.

We see it every year, so many people try to begin by pushing themselves into change - more discipline, more goals, more pressure - without realising that the state of your nervous system sets the tone for everything that follows.

This is why Coherence Breath is such a powerful place to begin 🙌🏻

It’s gentle.
It’s steady.

And it helps bring the body back into balance - creating a calm, regulated baseline to build from.

Simply - breathe slowly and gently in through your nose to the count of 5 and back out through your nose (or mouth) to the count of 5 - keeping it all soft, calm and soothing.
