It’s been a very busy couple of weeks as I get to grips with a new job and a completely new routine - I am feeling tired what with all the driving, learning and interacting with people.
It’s been over a decade since I worked ‘regular hours’ so it’s been a bit of a shock to the system as I try to juggle a paid job, my own business, parenting and home life!
But when I wake up to this view on a lovely Sunday morning, I do feel very blessed indeed 🌊 ⛰️ 🐑
I spent some time this morning wandering around the garden, mug of tea in hand, checking on my plants, watching the cows and sheep in the field next to us and marvelling at the sea and mountains in the distance. I don’t think I’ll ever get used to the views here 💚
So today is a slow day, my only day off this coming week and I’m going to spend it cuddling cats, reading, drinking tea and eating chocolate cake made by my wonderful daughter (it’s delicious and not too sweet).
Today’s book is The Lost Bookshop by Evie Woods which I’m enjoying so far. I would say give me some bookish recommendations in the comments but I have piles of books around the house writing to be read… 😬
