🎅✨ Santa’s Hat Cheesecake Making at Elsyng House! ✨🎅

Today our residents rolled up their sleeves and created the most beautiful Santa’s Hat cheesecakes – full of colour, Christmas spirit, and lots of laughter! ❤️🍓

From layering the biscuit base to decorating with strawberries, chocolate drops, and fresh mint, everyone added their own special festive touch. The results were absolutely stunning – and delicious too!

A big thank you to our wonderful team for supporting and making this joyful afternoon possible. Moments like these make Christmas at Elsyng House truly magical. 🎄💫

We kicked off the festive month in the most wonderful way.
Our morning was filled with sweetness and smiles as the nursery children joined our residents to decorate gingerbread biscuits — a heart-warming intergenerational moment we’ll treasure. 🍪❤️

The Christmas magic continued in the afternoon with a fun and lively pantomime performance that brought laughter and joy to everyone. 🎄⭐

And to top off this perfect day, we celebrated our lovely Brenda’s birthday — a beautiful moment shared with friends, music and cake. 🎂🎉

🎄✨ A Magical Outing to Van Hage, Great Amwell! ✨🎄

Today our residents enjoyed a wonderful visit to Van Hage Garden Centre, soaking up the Christmas spirit in every corner! From sparkling trees and festive displays to nativity scenes and winter wonderlands, the day was filled with smiles, joy and a little Christmas shopping too.

It was lovely to see everyone admiring the decorations, choosing gifts, and making beautiful memories together. ❤️

Our home is filled with sparkle, music, and heart-warming festivities as we begin a magical month of celebrations with our residents, families, and our wonderful community.

We’re excited to share our December Events Calendar, including:
🎭 A Christmas Pantomime
🧝‍♂️ Elf Day Fun
🎩 A Magician Show
🎶 Live music from the 50s & 60s
🎼 Our Elsyng House Christmas Carols with the residents’ choir
🎅 Plus a special visit to our cosy Christmas Corner to create beautiful memories with loved ones.

✨ And that’s not all…
On 17th December at 3pm we’re hosting a Christmas Party with an incredible George Michael Tribute in our Linnet Dining room — an afternoon full of festive joy, dancing, and nostalgia!

🎤 We’re also delighted to welcome four wonderful school choirs throughout December. Their young voices always bring magic to the home and fill our lounges with Christmas cheer.

Thank you to our community, families, volunteers, and schools for helping us make this season so special for our residents.
