😴 Sleep is so important for our day to day living. Poor quality sleep can have a knock on effect on our cognitive ability, our mood, our body's ability to regulate vital processes like muscle recovery, it can affect our motivation & cause hormonal imbalances to name a few.
👣 Reflexology is a fantastic treatment to help improve sleep and bring the body back into balance. I have had clients who's sleep has improved significantly with the support of Reflexology. Below is some useful tips to use in between Reflexology session

🤯Stress Awareness Month 🤯

What is "Stress?" Stress is a natural & instinctive response by our body and mind in times of pressure or feeling under threat. This can trigger the "Fight or Flight" response, which in some incidents can be a good thing, but long term exposure or been "stuck" in "Fight or Flight" essentially means the body is consistently in a state of high alert/stress which will have negative effects on the body physically, mentally and spiritually.

An example of when stress may arise is for those who are preparing and studying for exams. Feelings of pressure, anxiety, overwhelmed, difficulty concentrating and sleep disturbances are often common experiences with exam stress.

We all have experienced "Stress" at some point in our lives and learning how to manage it is key.
Taking breaks and using useful relaxation techniques such as deep breathing and mindfulness to help keep the body in a state of homestasis.

Reflexology is also a helpful tool for reducing stress and anxiety by promoting relaxation whilst activating the parasympathetic nervous system, potentially leading to improved overall well-being during times of stress and can also be used as a preventative measure
Reflexology is also great if you just want some "me time!" 😉
