🌈 Meet Our New EDI Champion — Subashi

Frank Foster House is proud to introduce Subashi as our new EDI (Equality, Diversity & Inclusion) Champion.
Her role is to support and promote an environment where every resident, staff member and visitor feels respected, valued and heard.

Get ready to sparkle, shine and spread Christmas cheer — it’s Christmas Jumper Day at Frank Foster House this Thursday 11th December! 🎅✨

We’ll be hosting a festive jumper competition, so dig out your brightest, boldest, funniest or most Christmassy knit and join in the fun! From jingling bells to twinkling tinsel and all things merry and bright — we can’t wait to see what everyone wears.

A cuddly, calming and heart-warming experience for our residents — the perfect way to bring joy and comfort this winter.

🌟 Nursery Visit – Thursday 11th December at 2pm 🌟

We are excited to share that this Thursday, 11th December at 2pm, we will be welcoming local nursery children to Frank Foster House Care for a wonderful afternoon in the Activities Lounge. 🧸💛

These intergenerational moments bring so much joy, warmth and energy into our home — our residents always treasure the smiles, laughter and connection the little ones bring. We are very lucky to have them visiting us. ✨

Your Care in Our Hands

We strive to create a relaxing environment at Frank Foster House, and all of the bedrooms are beautifully furnished, with en-suite bathroom facilities. The home has excellent amenities and a dedicated area for dementia care, designed to enable those we care for to maintain their independence in a safe environment. We have special sensory areas, with sensory items on the walls to touch, listen and see, including a sea life scene on the first floor.

Our activity programme ensures that residents remain stimulated and engaged and our activity coordinators take into account resident's hobbies, needs and interests. The activities at Frank Foster House are varied and, alongside enjoying themselves, residents can receive a wide range of health and fitness benefits from taking part. In addition, Frank Foster have created a 21st Century room, with a computer for internet surfing and emails together with Wii games. We also have a small Chapel.

We now have a themed tea room at Frank Foster House, designed to enable residents, families and friends to meet in a relaxing, old fashioned tea room environment, and enjoy a day out experience without leaving the home.
