To anyone facing anxiety, grief, burnout, trauma, or the quiet ache of simply trying to hold it all together: you are not alone.

Next , I’ll be spending the whole day in our Yoga Shala with private students, and it felt like the perfect chance to open up a in-between session that you can join too.

This will be an opportunity for you to take 90 minutes of pure + - a gentle MOT for your body. We’ll focus on releasing muscular tension and supporting posture.

💙 Whether it’s someone’s first time on the mat or their thousandth, my intention is always the same: to offer calm, to offer care, and to hold space with presence and love.

🩵 This studio isn’t just a place to practice yoga; it’s a place to exhale, to soften, to reconnect, to rebuild resilience. And every time I see someone settle into stillness, find their breath, or simply feel safe… I’m reminded of why I do this.

Hello lovely people!

I have an announcement for you.

As many of you know that I work with Mind in West Essex voluntarily in different roles and occasional events, and happy to share a wonderful opportunity with you.

WE is excited to invite you to take part in a groundbreaking new study exploring the use of virtual reality ( ) to deliver .

The study, which is being run by Tend VR and the University of Manchester with a few local Minds, is calling for adults who have experienced recent or symptoms.

Participants will trial an innovative virtual Based Cognitive Therapy ( ) programme - for !

It will involve 8 sessions of around an hour over a period 8-12 weeks at one of our sites of your choice: , , or .

By participating in the study, you will:
📍Get a free VR course designed to help improve symptoms of anxiety and depression
📍Shape the future design of this service
📍Help advance the progress of VR for delivering mental health programmes

Participation is free and you will be provided with all the necessary equipment - however, you will need a .

Staff will be on hand to provide any support needed during the sessions.

You need to meet set eligibility criteria to be selected to participate.

Well, here I am; Aslihan, the Crow! A citizen of the Earth, a community member who cares the external & internal wealth and wellbeing of all from the age of zero to 100+, mother to a gorgeous teen, a beloved wife, a keen advocate of "Stop! Drop! Rest!" with a restless past and a life long learner on the path of Yoga who found deep healing and long lasting calm in this ancient practice. More and most importantly, I am one of you!

I am also Progressive Hatha Yoga Teacher who was trained 4.5 years comprehensively and intensively by the British Wheel of Yoga (the only governing body of Yoga in the UK) for BWYQ Level 4 (500hrs) Diploma of Yoga Teaching; Advanced Restorative Yoga Teacher for Therapeutic Applications trained by Judith Hanson Lasater - one of the leading yoga teachers across the Globe ; Teen Yoga & Mindfulness Teacher trained by Charlotta Martinus - one of the most respected teen yoga teachers in the UK & rest of the world and Ayurveda In Action teacher integrating ayurvedic principles in on &off the mat practices trained by Tarik Dervish & Cathy Mae.
