Hi Everyone,

I have received funding to run an 8 week therapeutic yoga course to support Women with Breast Cancer, starting in October. The funding covers the full cost of attending the classes so participants can attend for Free (also welcome to bring a friend / family member for support ).

The classes are based in our comfortable studio in Epping.

The sessions are designed for anyone who:
-has been recently diagnosed
-recovering from surgery
-managing treatment symptoms / side effects
-in remission

No previous yoga experience is necassary. The classes will include movement, breathing techniques, deep relaxation. All equipment is provided. Booking is required as spaces are limited.

SOUND ASLEEP // MONDAY 17th APRIL

“Roughly 62% of adults worldwide feel that they don’t sleep well when they go to bed".
Sleep is an important part of the human experience and interacts with many biological processes. And yet modern life is not set up in a way to prioritise quality sleep. Disturbed sleep can be both a contributor and a symptom of various health problems (both physical and mental) and therefore a sleep strategy should be part of any wellbeing intervention.
I would like to invite you to join us this Monday night in Epping.
Expect evidence-based, mind-body practices to help support your nervous system towards sleep mode ! Including a soothing sound bath with quartz crystal bowls to aid deep relaxation. Everyone welcome.

WHAT TO EXPECT ? Spend three hours indulging in nourishing practices that will help you to soften the edges. Working to soothe each of the five senses, ✨gentle movement exploring sensations
✨candlelit meditation
✨breathwork with essential oils f
✨sound healing with crystal bowls and koshi chimes
✨Cacao, teas and treats for mindful moments spent exploring taste.

The senses are the bridge from the external to the internal world and when we soften through our senses it can feel easier to be with ourselves in stillness, in silence as we withdraw into deep peace & relaxation.

JOURNEY TO HEADSTAND 🤍

Who’s joining me?

A workshop style class, looking at the FUNdamentals of inversions :) Our main focus will be on mechanics of headstands, but other modified inversions such as legs up the wall and shoulder stand will be explored too. Anyone can join, from complete never-been-upside-down beginner, to those confident in free-standing headstands!

How to engage with social media
m i n d f u l l y ✨

Ever been browsing and before you know it 2 hours have gone past? Or you’ve clicked on an image and fallen down a rabbit hole…Yes? Me too! I’ve deleted IG countless times but always come back for my yoga work and some of the brilliant accounts I follow. These are working for me so far…

✨limit the number of hours you can access your social media pages per day, by setting up an app limit on your phone. Mine is set to 2 hours max. a day and once I’ve used it up - i can’t access IG / Facebook

✨Leave your phone in another room at times you want to be really present with other things. I noticed between 4pm-5pm im addicted. Putting my phone down. Then picking it up. Scroll scroll. Repeat! Maybe something about witching hour in our home at this time, but dividing my attention between a hungry toddler and IG binge leaves me feeling drained unnecessarily.

✨ Scroll mindfully - Notice colours, words, sounds. Notice how many posts you see before being interrupted by an advert 🤣 Notice how you feel, when you engage with certain accounts. Chose to engage with accounts that lift you up 🤍
