The 12 week course is suitable for stroke survivors who are referred by their GP, or a healthcare professional. It helps survivors to improve function in day to day activities, and live independently. There is also support and advice on diet, meditation, and mindfulness.

Utthita Parsvakonasana (Extended Side Angle Pose) is a really beneficial posture that I have been doing daily for the past 6mths...it’s a really challenging posture for me, but it’s paid off and there has been a noticeable improvement in my lower back pain. It gives a deep stretch to the muscles in the lateral spine and torso, and groin. As well as opening the lungs and shoulders to help improve breathing. Which posture(s) are having most benefit for you?
