We’re Hiring! Care Professionals needed in Ockley, Capel & Newdigate

On Friday, Danielle, Maggie and Rachael had a fantastic day attending the Crawley Jobs Fair. Although our office is based in Epsom, we are proud to support many wonderful clients living in the Ockley, Capel and Newdigate areas. As our care family continues to grow, we are always looking for kind-hearted, compassionate people who want to make a real difference.

At Home Instead, our Care Professionals don’t just provide outstanding care, they build meaningful relationships and bring companionship, dignity and support to older people in their own homes.

Michelle, our Deputy Care Manager (right hand side) had a truly lovely morning joining Helen Maguire for Epsom & Ewell (second from the left), and Walk the Walk for a gentle community stroll around the beautiful Epsom and Ashtead Commons.

It was such a pleasure to meet local residents, enjoy the fresh winter air, and be part of an event that brings people together while raising awareness and funds in aid of breast cancer.

At Home Instead Epsom and Dorking, we see every day how something as simple as a walk can make a real difference supporting healthy ageing, boosting mood, improving balance, and helping older people stay connected to the world around them. Many of our clients enjoy these little outings with our Caregivers, and they often become the highlight of the week.

A big thank you to Walk the Walk and Helen Maguire MP for organising such a positive, welcoming and inclusive event. 💚

“I may make it to triple figures.”

What a truly special milestone to celebrate!
This week, our wonderful client Angela turned 100 years young and we couldn’t be more delighted to share in this remarkable moment.

For the past six years, it has been our privilege to support Angela with help around the home, trips to the shops, and most importantly, plenty of good company and friendship along the way.

Angela told us a story that made us smile. She remembers turning 10 years old and her father congratulating her on reaching double figures. Her response?

“I may make it to triple figures.”

Well Angela you did it. And what an inspiration you are!
