Did you know, you can view your test results, hospital letters and consultations on the NHS App.

Had a blood test and want to see your results? You do not need to phone the surgery, once your results are back and have been viewed by a Dr they will appear on your NHS App.

Been to hospital and are waiting for feedback from your consultant? You do not need to wait for the postman, your letter will be viewable on the NHS App.

Even if you have visited us for an appointment with one of our clinician and not taken in all they said, you can view the consultation notes on the NHS App the very same day.

If you need help setting up and accessing the NHS App, call into any surgery where a member of the reception team will be able to help you.

If you are used to receiving paper letters in the post about hospital appointments and have found the change to digital ones a little confusing, the video below shows you how easy it is to read your letters.

If you need any help with the NHS App or its features you can call in at any of our practices where a member of the reception team will take the time to show you.

Each month we share the number of DNA (Did Not Attend) appointments across our practice sites on the notice boards in our waiting rooms.

Following feedback from patients, we understand that the number alone doesn’t always give the full picture. To provide better context, we will now also display what percentage of our total appointments these DNAs represent.

Year to date, 2.5% of appointments at our practice have not been attended, which is below the NHS average for GP practices of around 5%. While this is encouraging, we know that even a small number of missed appointments can prevent other patients from getting the care they need.

In February, 102 appointments were not attended with no reason given, which represented 1.8% of all appointments that month.

We continually work to reduce missed appointments so that we can make as many appointments as possible available for patients who really need them. If you can no longer attend your appointment, please let us know as soon as possible so we can offer that time to another patient.

Thank you to all patients who contact us to cancel or rearrange appointments — it really does make a difference.

Moving Forward is for people who have come to the end of their hospital-based treatment for primary breast cancer.

We know that for a lot of people it’s not ‘back to normal’ when they’ve finished their hospital-based treatment for breast cancer. Coping with the shock of a diagnosis, treatment side effects and worries about recurrence can make it difficult to adjust to everyday life.

Alongside the face-to-face course, service users will have access to presentations on a range of topics from expert speakers, via an online platform and a Moving Forward journal to support them throughout the course.

There is a new Moving Forward course in Scunthorpe and it’s due to take place on 19th & 26th March 2026 and a further course in Grimsby is planned for 18th and 25th June 2026

It’s free of charge and patients can find their closest course, self-refer and book onto the courses via our website using the following link https://breastcancernow.org/support-for-you/moving-forward/moving-forward-in-person or by calling us on 0345 077 1893.

If you’ve finished your active, hospital-based treatment, our in-person course is for you. It offers supportive, open conversations in a confidential space.

Important Patient Update

Due to the current winter viruses circulating and the upcoming doctors’ strike, our practice capacity is unfortunately being affected.

While we understand how frustrating this is, there may be occasions where we have to cancel appointments that have already been made. Please be assured this is not a decision we take lightly, and we sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

We will always do our best to rebook urgent appointments as soon as possible. However, appointments that are not deemed urgent may need to be rescheduled into the New Year.

Thank you for your patience, understanding, and continued kindness towards our staff during this very challenging time. Your support truly means a lot to us.
