We are supporting Children’s Mental Health Week, which is taking place this week and runs up to this Sunday, February 15.
One in six children and young people have a diagnosable mental health problem, and many more struggle with challenges from bullying to bereavement.
Children’s Mental Health Week helps families, schools and communities talk about children’s mental health and shares simple ways to help children feel safe, valued and supported.
This year’s theme is ‘This is My Place’ and aims to help children feel they belong. When children feel they belong, they often feel safer.

Norovirus is also called the ‘winter vomiting bug,’ you can catch it at any time of the year.
Norovirus can be very unpleasant but usually clears up by itself in a few days.
Follow the NHS ’48 hour rule’ which means if you have diarrhoea and/or vomiting, stay at home if possible and avoid school, work, or public places for at least 48 hours after symptoms stop, to prevent spreading the infection.
