WOW! Just WOW!
Look at all the fabulous raffle prizes we have up for grabs at Leyland Leisure Centre between 10am - 3pm and Tesco Extra between 11am - 3pm.

This week OT Jo and OTA Ciara went out to meet the mechanical horse RADAR at Midgeland riding school.

RADAR recreates the movement of a real horse, helping riders develop balance, coordination, core strength, and confidence in a safe, controlled environment. It’s often the first step — a way to learn the feel of riding, build skills, and grow confidence before progressing further.

And for many riders, RADAR is exactly that: a bridge. Once they’re ready, they can move on to trying a real horse, already feeling prepared and empowered.

Bonus- No mucking out… and no need to feed RADAR carrots 🥕😉

Last week we welcomed Ande from Aatgb , who visited us to showcase some of their fantastic products 🙌

We had the chance to get hands-on with:

• The Stairclimber – a mobility aid that allows users to safely go up and down stairs where lifts or stairlifts can’t be installed.
• The Stabilo Grande – a mattress-sized cushion that can be moulded or folded to suit individual needs, providing 24/7 posture management.
• The Gravity Chair – no harnessing, no restriction, just comfort for children and young adults.
• Plus lots of other great products!

We’ve a few tables left for our annual Sapphire ball in aid of Headway Central Lancashire. We support adults after they have sustained a brain injury or a major trauma injury, and our charitable service starts in hospital.
