For many people, the places we love — our clubs, our communities, our shared experiences — become part of our story.
That is why 𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘄𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝗼 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁.
Over the past 18 months, 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗴𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝘀 𝗟𝘁𝗱 (𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗰𝗼𝘅 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽) has been proud to work alongside 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗟𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘀 on the creation of a memorial niche wall and remembrance garden at 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘁𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁𝘀.
This special space will allow families to commemorate loved ones in a place connected to passion, memories and community — somewhere that meant something during life and can continue to do so in remembrance.
The memorial niches incorporate Neolith sintered stone, a highly durable and sustainable material made from 100% natural minerals, produced using renewable energy and recycled water, and designed to provide a long-lasting memorial solution.
As cremation continues to grow across the UK, providing 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 is becoming more important than ever.
Projects like this help create new opportunities for remembrance, allowing families to honour loved ones in environments that truly reflect the lives they lived.

We’re delighted to share the completion of the 𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐦𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐮𝐦 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐭 𝐁𝐞𝐝𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐂𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐲, delivered by 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐠𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐬 𝐋𝐭𝐝.

This isn’t the first mausoleum we’ve built at Bedford. We have previously collaborated with the cemetery on earlier mausoleum developments, and as those spaces have become increasingly well used, this newest build helps ensure the cemetery can continue to provide this important memorial option for families in the local community.

Across the UK, many cemeteries are beginning to think carefully about how they plan for future memorial space. As available land becomes more limited, options such as mausoleums can form part of a wider strategy — offering a dignified above-ground memorial solution while making thoughtful use of existing grounds.

Bringing History Back to Life: Coopers Monument Renovation

We’re thrilled to share that the renovation of the Coopers Monument at Maldon Fields Crematorium is nearing completion! 🌟

This project has been a labour of love, and the monument is looking truly magnificent. As part of the finishing touches, we’ve been working on restoring the surrounding railings to complement the monument’s refreshed look. A final tidy-up is all that’s needed before it’s ready to be admired once again in all its glory.

At Greenbridge Designs, we take pride in preserving the character and history of monuments like this one, ensuring they continue to stand as timeless tributes for generations to come.

A few years ago, we at Greenbridge Designs had the privilege of designing and building this stunning war memorial in Newport, South Wales. Located alongside a busy main road, this memorial stands as a poignant reminder of the sacrifices made by so many.

Every year, as Remembrance Day approaches, our team comes together for a rewarding and meaningful day of restoration and care. We clean and polish the memorial, ensuring it is restored to its full glory, ready to honour the memories of those who gave everything for our freedom.
