Team Training: Medical Emergencies & Life Support 🚑

This week our team have completed our annual Medical Emergency and Life Support refresher training.

This essential training ensures we stay confident, competent and ready to respond in any emergency situation. From Basic Life Support (BLS) to Immediate Life Support (ILS) for patients under conscious sedation, we’ve refreshed and reinforced the vital skills needed to keep our patients safe.

This invaluable session helps us:�♥️ Act quickly and effectively in emergency situations�♥️ Deliver CPR and other life-saving techniques�♥️ Manage medical emergencies with calm confidence

We hope we’ll never need to use these skills but your safety is always our top priority. You can rest assured that our whole team are fully trained and prepared to provide the best possible care to you and your family.

Free Diabetes Screenings - Exclusively For Our Existing Patients! ✨

At EDHT, we’re proud to go beyond your smile by committing to promoting not only excellent oral health but also overall wellbeing through preventative care.

As part of this commitment, we are offering free diabetes screenings for our existing patients! Partnered with researchers at the University of Birmingham as part of their exciting research study, we’re helping to detect potential diabetes risks early by giving eligible patients the opportunity to undergo a risk assessment for Type 2 Diabetes.

Celebrating 5 Years With EDHT!

This October we have already seen two of our much-loved team members reaching milestone anniversaries, with Carla and Emma having been with us for 5 and 15 years respectively. And last but by certainly no means least, we are also celebrating our wonderful dental nurse, Jess, who has given 5 years of dedicated service at EDHT!

Jess began her journey in dentistry back in 2014 as a trainee dental nurse and receptionist. Over the years, she’s brought her skills and passion for patient care to several practices, gaining a wealth of experience along the way.

She stepped into the world of implant nursing in 2016, and since joining EDHT in 2020, she’s continued to enhance her knowledge and skills. Jess achieved her radiography qualification in 2021 and has recently completed training in sedation nursing, further expanding her clinical expertise.

In addition to her clinical roles, Jess often steps in to assist on reception when needed and she is also a key part of our behind-the-scenes operations - expertly managing our dental implant administration, ensuring everything runs smoothly for both patients and our implant dentist, Richard.

Jess, thank you for your dedication, professionalism and being such a reliable team player. We truly appreciate all you do, and look forward to many more years together at EDHT!

Celebrating 15 Years With EDHT! 🎉💐🍾

This month we’re celebrating another very special milestone - our wonderful dental nurse, Emma, has given 15 years of dedicated service!

Emma is a shining example of professionalism, reliability and care. Over the years, she’s become an invaluable part of our team - always dynamic, working both as a dental nurse and on reception with her trademark calm and welcoming approach.

Emma first began her dental career straight out of school, returning to the profession in 2007 when she achieved her National Certificate in Dental Nursing. Since joining us full-time in 2010, she’s continued to grow, bringing warmth, expertise and compassion to everything she does.

Celebrating 5 Years With EDHT! 🎉💐🍾

Please join us in celebrating our fantastic dental nurse, Carla, who is marking 5 amazing years with Evesham Dental Health Team this October!

Carla first qualified in optical retail before discovering her true passion for dental nursing in 2017. She joined the EDHT family in 2020 and quickly became a valued and much-loved member of the team.

In 2023, Carla proudly qualified in Dental Radiography, and since then has completed her training in implant nursing. She continues to build on her skills, and her drive for learning and commitment to patient care are truly inspiring.

Carla is a truly dynamic team member, also often stepping in to assist on reception when needed and always bringing a calm, professional approach to everything she does.
