We are celebrating International Paramedic day!
What’s it all about ?
International Paramedics Day is an annual event held on the 8th July to celebrate and recognize the vital role of paramedics and first responders worldwide. It was launched in 2022 by the College of Paramedics in the UK and is supported by paramedic organizations globally. The date commemorates the birthday of Dominique-Jean Larrey, the French military doctor credited as the "father of modern ambulance services". This year's theme is Unity and Community, highlighting the collaborative efforts of paramedics and their connection to the communities they serve.
Today aims to;
Recognize the invaluable contributions of paramedics.
Raise awareness about the diverse work of paramedics.
Promote the paramedic profession to aspiring students.
Foster a sense of unity and community among paramedics worldwide.
We at County Events and Medical Ltd are proud of the Paramedics that work for us, our newly qualified Paramedics and Student Paramedics that our senior clinicians are working with and mentoring in order to share knowledge and allow the next generation of Padamedics to practice vital skills in a different arena other than the typical frontline environment.
