What a fun afternoon putting up the Christmas decorations. We all had fun.

We were blessed yesterday as a group of members and children from Harvest City Church Leicester came to minister to us in a Nativity presentation. We then were spoilt with professionally made cake for all of us. What a lovely afternoon, the family members really enjoyed it.

A visit from Crown Hills College on Friday was so welcoming. Students spent time getting to know the family members. We then played two games, the students took it in turns to speak into the mic leading the game.

A very special afternoon yesterday for staff and family members. We had the privilege of having Christine, a harp player come and play to us for an hour of all different music. We sang to ones we knew. All of us were so relaxed and recharged!!

We made Christmas cards with the family members. It was so nice having help from 3 students from Gateway college, the family members enjoyed the students talking and helping them.

We had a special occasion of having 1st Fleckney Scouts ( 4 to 6 year olds)Beavers and Squirrels come visit us and do crafts with us. The family members loved the children. The children were so friendly. They bought a favourite toy or thing to do to show the family members.

Yesterday John came to give a antique roadshow talk on badges. It was very interesting and the family members enjoyed looking and passing the badges around.

Guess the flavour yoghurt was the name of our game! family members enjoyed tasting 7 different flavours.

The family members enjoyed playing monopoly with a student from St Paul's Catholic School.

We had fun with the Ten pin bowling, two of our family members had never done it before. The end scores were all very close.
