This lovely patient of mine has such a bubbly and warm character, but inside she was really upset with her tummy. Sheโd had three babies, including twins, and felt her c-section scar had โwreckedโ her tummy. She described her tummy as โwobblyโ, โjigglyโ and an โoverhangโ and had really tried to bring her old tummy back with exercises but it didnโt work. She decided to see me in clinic, wondering if surgery might help ๐๐ผ
She had a widened muscle gap that was pulling her belly button to her right, and showed me her roll of tummy skin draping over her c-section scar that she simply couldnโt shift. A re**us divarification (also called diastasis recti) with such a wide gap cannot be narrowed without physically repairing it together with surgery, and tummy exercises cannot shift loose, excess skin. She decided to proceed with a tummy tuck, muscle repair and liposuction ๐๐ผ
Here she is nearly a year later with a beautiful, stable result and a strong abdominal wall with no gap in her muscles. Sheโs such a joyful patient, and this time she was smiling outside as well as inside and loving her new tummy, figure and her abdominal strength. Am so grateful that she let me share her results ๐๐ผ๐
