Studying reiki yourself is very empowering. I would recommend learning Reiki to anyone who wants to be able to support their own wellbeing or grow as a person.

Reiki is essentially channelling universal energy, chi or ‘ki’. You can treat yourself daily and use Reiki in all sorts of applications in daily life. To help manifest goals, lighten the atmosphere in the room or to treat your friends or family.

I help many people suffering from fatigue and other long term health conditions and I love to give them techniques to support their wholeness. The daily self-treatments Reiki enables, can be game changing. I particularly like to show those with long term health issues specialist ways that they can treat their own condition.

After the success of last weeks meditation, I've organised a monthly Meditation, every second Saturday in the month. I hope you can make it!

I’m looking forward to holding another meditation class in Topsham at the Hub, 11:00 Saturday 10th May to support your journey, wellbeing, calm and wholeness. It’s £7 if you book ahead by the end of the Thursday before (8th May) and £10 on the door. I hope you can make it!

Alison will include techniques from Craniosacral Therapy, Reiki and Mindfulness and has plenty of experience in supporting recovery from fatigue, anxiety, pain injury and more. She has found that learning to relax deeply and manage the fight, flight and freeze responses is often key to recovery.
Learn how to get out your own way; reset your own nervous system and invite stillness and archetypal images in Journey Meditations. Connect with Soma and your deeper Wisdom, whether you believe that is part of yourself or something bigger.

I'm looking forward to giving a talk about Reiki at the Hub on the 26th April. There will be refreshments and a demo for anyone who'd like to join in and it will follow on from my meditation class. More details below...
Reiki is a simple energy system that was initiated in Japan by Mikao Usui. It is typically used to ‘unblock’, let go of emotional triggers and support wellbeing (particularly around anxiety and stress).
Reiki was originally intended as way of developing spiritually, but Usui showed some medical officers ways to support healing via a shortcut. This then spread to the West via Hawayo Takata who described the energy system as explaining how Jesus performed miracles.
Since then, people such as Chris Marsh have enabled us to connect more with Usui’s original methods. As an expert martial artist, he was able to learn from some of Usui’s original pupils .
Refreshments will be provided and after speaking, Alison will do a Reiki demonstration for anyone who would like to receive it.
