Supporting Our Patients with Trusted Information

We always aim to share as much helpful information as possible to support our patients. Sometimes, when we highlight one topic, it can naturally raise questions about who else can help or where to find support for other conditions.

That’s why we encourage you to take a look at the pages we follow — these include a range of official organisations, charities and public services offering reliable information, advice, and support across many medical conditions and local services.

We’ll continue to add more as we discover them, so if there’s a page you think we should be following, let us know in the comments below 👇

Together, we can help connect people with the support they need 💙

Information shared on this page is intended for general guidance only. Views and information belong to the original source, and we are not responsible for the content of external pages. For personal medical advice, please contact your healthcare professional.

🚨 Important Safety Alert for Parents in the UK 🚨

Some baby milk products have been recalled in the UK due to potential safety concerns. If you are using infant formula:

🍼 Check the product name, batch number, and expiry date
🍼 Do not use any product included in the recall
🍼 Follow the recall guidance for returns or refunds
🍼 Contact your GP or health visitor if your baby shows any unusual symptoms

Your baby’s safety comes first.

For the latest and official updates, always check the Food Standards Agency (FSA) website or trusted news sources.

Please share to help other parents stay informed.

The safety and wellbeing of babies is our absolute priority. As a precautionary measure, Nestlé is voluntarily recalling specific batches of its SMA infant formula and follow-on formula.

Children under 6 are now routinely offered the MMRV vaccine as part of the NHS childhood vaccination programme.

MMRV replaces the existing MMR vaccine and adds protection against chickenpox, alongside measles, mumps and rubella.

You don’t need to do anything — your GP will contact you when your child is due.

A yellow snow & ice warning for the South West, remains in place until Monday midday, with snow and icy conditions expected to make travel difficult in places.

Adverse weather is likely to impact what is already a busy period for the practice, and may make travelling difficult for both patients and staff.

Please bear with us if there are any delays to services. Where possible, we kindly ask that routine enquiries are left until later in the day or that you use our online services.

Contingency plans will be implemented if necessary, which include staff working remotely where possible to continue providing safe care.

Thank you for your understanding and please take extra care if travelling.
