Tonight we were back in action for 2026 with Lifeguard staff training at Alphington School Pool with the lifeguard team.

Great session covering both in-water rescue skills and dryside aspects.

The team refreshed and practised:
•🏊‍♂️ Water work rescues & casualty management
•🛟 Spinal techniques and safe extractions
•⛑️Dryside incident response and teamwork
•🩹First aid, CPR, and emergency procedures
•🗣️Communication, supervision, and decision-making under pressure

Regular, realistic training is essential to keep skills sharp, confidence high, and standards exactly where they should be — protecting customers and supporting each other as a team.

Another solid session with a motivated group who took it seriously and performed well 👏

Today we are mentoring a Royal Life Saving Society UK - RLSS UK Probationary Trainer Assessor for their LG10 assessment for a Pool Lifeguarding qualification!

Early start for us this morning as we had a Royal Life Saving Society UK - RLSS UK Pool Lifeguard re-assessment for 6 x members of staff at Ladys Mile!

Well done to all the candidates who passed their assessment through First Aid, Water skills and examination!

We were back in North Wales at the incredible Haulfryn The Warren delivering workplace first aid training for 12 x members of staff! ⛑️

All of our first aid courses cover far more than just the basics:

⛑️Incident management and scene safety
🩹CPR and AED use
⛑️Choking, bleeding and shock
🩹Medical emergencies and trauma scenarios
⛑️Casualty assessment and decision-making under pressure

Our courses are highly interactive, scenario-based and led by experienced educators, ensuring all our learners leave with the confidence and competence to act when it really matters.

This approach is what sets our training apart: realistic content, current best practice and delivery that reflects real-world situations rather than just tick-box training.

💧Hot Tub Chemical Testing & Cleaning Training Delivered Today💧

A great session completed today with teams from Haulfryn Delamere Holiday Park - learning how to properly test, balance and maintain hot-tub water in line with industry best practice.

We covered:

🧪 Accurate chemical testing techniques
📊 Understanding results & correcting imbalances
🚿 Full cleaning, purge and refill procedures
⚠️ Common issues (cloudy water, foaming, odours) and how to prevent them
📘 PWTAG-aligned safety checks and record-keeping

Fantastic engagement from everyone, and brilliant to see participants growing in confidence with practical testing and safe handling of chemicals.

These skills are essential for guest safety, compliance and reducing downtime — and the team absolutely nailed it.

Today we have been at the incredible Tonbridge School mentoring a Royal Life Saving Society UK - RLSS UK First Aid PTA for their first EFAW course.

We have just finished delivering some water testing and hot tub cleaning training at Hayling Island Holiday Park for their staff to ensure they are up to date and ready for the new season!

This includes strict cleaning and disinfection routine to ensure every hot tub meets industry-standard hygiene levels - areas such as full drain-downs, surface sanitisation, filter cleaning, refill and balancing to PWTAG-recommended levels before each use.

We have just finished re-assessing a batch of Royal Life Saving Society UK - RLSS UK National Pool Lifeguards after some further additional training.
