🌱 Topic Tuesday: The Moment You Say “Yes” to Reiki Level 1

Today, I want to honour the three beautiful souls who stepped forward, trusted their intuition, and completed their Reiki Level 1 with me.

Reiki 1 isn’t just a training —
it’s an initiation.
A remembering.
A homecoming.

When a student receives their attunement, they join a lineage.
My lineage.
Our lineage.
The same stream of light that flows through my teachers, my teacher’s teachers, and all those who came before us.

Watching each of them soften, open, and realise “I can do this… it’s already in me” is one of the most profound parts of my work.

Even while navigating new motherhood, the energy still finds a way to move through me. Teaching reminds me that healing doesn’t pause — it evolves.

Here’s to the ones who said yes.
Yes to healing.
Yes to intuition.
Yes to becoming channels for light — for themselves first, and maybe one day for others.

I’m so proud of you. 💫

🕊️ In Loving Memory of Pete — A Light Forever Anchored in Our Story 🕊️

Last Monday, I lost someone truly special — and so did The Edgy Therapist.

Pete wasn’t just my accountant. He was a friend, a grounding soul, and one of life’s rare spirits who brought calm, depth, and quiet wisdom into every space he entered. He supported this business with a generosity that can’t be taught — always choosing energy exchange, trust, and genuine connection over anything transactional.

He and his wife Jill would come for treatments regularly. Sometimes together, sometimes with Pete stepping back so Jill could have the space she needed. That was who he was — thoughtful, devoted, and full of heart.

Between spreadsheets and sessions, we shared the kind of conversations that stay with you: life, purpose, the unseen, the messy human truths that shape us. He held space for me without trying, and he trusted me to hold space for him. That was our connection.

His sudden passing has left an ache — personally and professionally. He wasn’t just part of my life; he was part of the foundation of this business. A steady pillar. A quiet blessing.

Pete worked incredibly hard but carried a softness that reminded you to breathe and slow down enough to feel life. He embodied kindness, truth, and ease.

Pete — your energy lives here.
In this business.
In the memories.
In every truth we shared.

Thank you for your wisdom, your heart, and your presence.
