🧘‍♀️ Yoga with Confidence: Finding Your Place on the Mat.

Join Carrie for a gentle yoga workshop designed to help you feel more comfortable and confident with yoga.

This workshop is especially suited to:

• Complete beginners.

• Women who feel nervous, unsure, or worry they’re “not very good at yoga” (we believe yoga is a practice, not something you’re good or bad at).

• Women returning to yoga after a break.

• Those who’d like to understand the fundamentals before joining regular classes.

Together, we’ll explore:
• What yoga is really about and how it supports the mind–body connection.

• Simple breath and body awareness to help you feel more at ease.

• Clear, accessible alignment principles to support your practice.

We’ll move slowly, pause often, and take time to explain what’s happening and why.

This is a calm, welcoming session in a supportive women-only space.

There’s no pressure to be flexible or experienced.

Everything is explained, options are always offered, and you’re encouraged to move in a way that feels right for you.

This workshop is not about achieving perfect poses or flexibility.

It’s about helping women feel at home in their bodies, confident in their practice, and connected within Renew’s warm and supportive community.

📅 Saturday 21st March.

⏱ 2.00pm - 3.30pm.

📍 Renew Women’s Fitness & Wellbeing.
Budlake, Exeter. EX5 3LW.

We’re bragging about RNIB Bookshare.

Because it’s brilliant and hardly anyone knows about it. Which we want to change rnib.in/RNIBBookshareFB

[Image Description: "Humble brag. We don’t usually brag. But RNIB Bookshare is doing something quietly brilliant, and we think you should know about it. Millions of curriculum books and papers, instantly available in audio, braille, large print and electronic text, so students with vision impairment, dyslexia or those who prefer alternative formats can actually follow along in lessons without missing out or being handed something ‘later’. If you know a teacher or a school, tell them about it. Or search “RNIB Bookshare” and see how much easier inclusive learning can be. Worth bragging about, no?"]

Every cancer journey is different.

Even with the same condition, the symptoms, the side effects, the recovery differs.

For we are sharing blood cancer stories of people from across Devon.

Next to share their story is Mark. Prior to his diagnosis Mark felt completely fine. It was only thanks to a routine blood test that something was picked up. That blood test saved his life.

You can read Mark’s story here: https://www.elfcharity.org.uk/news/every-moment-counts-marks-story-0

Trying comes with a risk of failure.
But not trying guarantees it.
Take the shot.
Even if you miss, you're still further than if you stood still.
