… recalling a fantastically organised this week in aid of .

We always enjoy supporting this event. It has a real vibe created by the organisers and supporters, and 1000 runners shuffling around the quayside with a palpable sense of business communities coming together for the good!

We take part as a small piece of the puzzle but we know the service is appreciated - a free massage and some physio tips are often needed just after you’ve run flat out. Here’s to next year - just keep the training up and your eyes on beating your time will push you to come back stronger 💪🏻 🏃🏻

For those looking for something a little further, but also in between 🗓️- check out our charity in May 2026.

… is looking forward to headlining the R&R next week at this years . Now sold out with 1000 runners, it’s gonna be all systems go on the quay for tired entrants needing a quick massage or some aprés run advice!

It really is an inclusive event and for those that train hard, an enjoyable experience. You get to know your body and your limits in a whole new way 🎯

Between us, we’ve run several marathons & Ultras across the globe and the ranks as our favourite. With an effective training plan, you can do it. 🫵.

Jane Newman and Family have organised and supported the since 2005. In fact the seed may have been sown much earlier when Jane used to ‘potter down the Otter’ with her grandfather many years ago!
Since then, it has become a true family affair, supporting along the way and raising significant funds for such a local and worthy cause.

This year, we’re also delighted to be supported by with their kind generosity for ‘Race tees’ included as part of the entry fee.

This anniversary run is extra special, being 20 years since it all began, and now in its 10th iteration. With over 3000 runners having completed it, there are no shortages of testimonials both on the website and social media channels.

Jane’s business Peak Physio, based and her fabulous team of physios are proudly supporting the event too and on hand for advice, preparation and even post event massage should you be needing it!
