Summer League Team Champions 2025

Wow! It was quite some final winning by one game in the last game of the night! What a brilliant team (including the reserves covering injuries and holidays and pulling off brilliant results last night especially for us). The best part by a million miles has been being welcomed into the D&E family, making friends and memories all while keeping active. Perfect 🤩

First Physio’s maiden season in the .club Summer League Squash and Racketball. Over a hundred people of all ages and abilities engaging in movement, exercise and sport, building friendships and fitness. Summer league is a special thing! Jo attempting to practice what’s she preaches- keep learning, keep moving and taking joy of your sport or hobby (and a desire to win 😂)

Every Friday Jo works at the South West MS Centre providing physio led exercise classes (with wonderful volunteers) to patients with MS and other neurological conditions. Santas training camp today provided festive joy 🎄🎅🏻⭐️ !

Michael, is joining our physiotherapy team at First Physio. He comes with a wealth of experience. Michael McBride is the current lead physio at Exeter City Football club, prior to this various other professional football clubs, Scotland National football team, private practice and NHS roles. He is a multiple marathon runner himself giving him experience and knowledge of running injuries and training plans.

Michael always tries to pick up local private physio work alongside his football club work to ensure he keeps a broad range of physio skills and types of injuries. When he reached out to us, with his knowledge and experience it wasn’t a difficult decison to get him on board!

He will be working a couple evenings a week, around his job at Exeter City. Welcome!
