Working with vulnerable seniors can be fun and so rewarding . Participation is always an option for the residents but invariably they love to join in ✨
Upa Yoga: Maintaining movement & joint mobility, controlling & expanding breathing, positive affirmations, in a calm, peaceful, caring environment. We're never too old to give it a try✨

Profile: Simon says according to his Oura Ring, he burns around 900 calories every time he comes to class. Coming to a 90 minute yoga class at Derekthedog Yoga Centre once a week for about 2 months now, he also says that the constant, dull ache under his shoulder blade is practically gone. ✨🧘‍♂️✨Great job Simon!🙏 You speak - we listen 😇

Just for fun!
People with Parkingson's face many challenges with simply doing normal everyday things that most people take for granted. It comes with hesitance & anxiety about doing simple tasks & following instructions. Not only does Yoga help with mobility & movement, it also helps to maintain a level of trust in ones own capability and even the confidence to try new things! (Or old things in a new way) People with Parkinson's are so brave when given the right encouragement. As Guy is demonstrating here in our park session. ✨😊🌳☀️🙏 Shambo!
