Purely Yoga Purely Yoga Yoga is for everyone, whether you're flexible or not so flexible. My Yoga Sessions are tailored to suit you, your needs and specific requirements.

So whether you are looking to improve your overall health and wellbeing, combat stress, lose weight, or open the door to your spiritual side, I will devise an individual programme for your specific needs – based on my initial assessment and short health questionnaire. Purely Yoga offers an alternative to large yoga classes, giving personal tuition on a one-to-one basis, a bit like a personal trainer. I also cater for small groups of up to 6 persons within your home or business. Not everyone wants to exercise in a large class for a variety or reasons, not least of all to ensure that you are getting the most out of your Yoga practice. By choosing personal tuition with me I can ensure that your postures are correct and giving you the maximum benefit from the session. Many of my clients much prefer to practice Yoga in the comfort and privacy of their own homes at a time convenient to them.

Client Testamonial: I have struggled with my health and fitness for some years and had been doing lots of Cardiovascular workouts in the Gym with a Personal Trainer and I didn’t seem to be making any progress. I came across Sonya in a local free magazine. Sonya has been very attentive to my level of disability particularly working on the tightness of my muscles in my left hip, I have now noticed a greater flexibility in my muscles. Whilst working with Sonya she referred me to Kazy Vincent-janes a Clinical Ecologist to address my IBS/Arthritis symptoms, this combined with the yoga has helped me greatly. Whilst this is very much working progress I would highly recommend Sonya’s one-to-one Yoga Session.

I’m at an age where I had begun to notice I was not as flexible as I used to be and initially for that reason alone I decided to give Yoga a go. I now wish I’d tried it earlier!

I have been practicing once a week with Sonya since September last year and already the benefits have far exceeded my expectations. I’m much stronger, particulary in my upper body, my waistline is smaller, my core strength has improved and of course the one thing I originally wanted out of it – my flexibility is back!

I am not disciplined enough to practice on my own and having Sonya come to my home is the perfect answer. The one to one individual attention means you are always taught to do every pose properly and from very early on Sonya quickly gauged how hard she could work me. She even provides a shoulder massage when it’s troubling me and when my 13 year old daughter wants to join us it’s always fun and pitched at just the right level for both of us to feel the benefits. What more can I ask, a perfect find!

Yogaing this morning, my client screamed whilst doing head to knee pose, a moment of horror on my part (thinking ambulance and was my insurance up to date) - until I realised that it was a scream of joy - her head had finally met her knee.... Thank you for the shock Mrs Wyatt-Jones! xx
