This reflects the incredible dedication, compassion and teamwork shown by our amazing staff every single day💪

At Escan Manor, our team works hard to create a warm, safe and happy home for all of our residents. While we are very proud of this achievement, we are even more motivated to keep improving, growing and continuing to provide the high-quality care our residents deserve!

We have been getting creative for a wonderful cause! 🐣✨

Over the past few weeks, we have been collecting donations for the Exeter Food Bank, and with Easter approaching, our residents have been busy decorating special Easter boxes ready to be filled with chocolate eggs for children supported by the food bank. 🍫🥚

It’s been such a lovely activity, with lots of creativity, smiles, and community spirit!

We are always so happy to help spread a little kindness and Easter joy to others. 💛

☘️ Happy St. Patrick’s Day! ☘️

Yesterday we celebrated St. Patrick’s Day, and what a lovely start to the day we had!

Our morning began with a wonderful performance from Graeme, who came in to sing for us🥰

Residents thoroughly enjoyed the music, singing along, clapping, and soaking up the festive atmosphere. It was the perfect way to begin our St. Patrick’s Day celebrations😆

Today, while our wonderful housekeepers were busy cleaning, Marilyn kindly offered to lend a helping hand🧹

She took on some of the hoovering and was more than happy to help keep things tidy! ✨

It’s always lovely to see residents getting involved in the little day-to-day moments around the home. Marilyn did a fantastic job and enjoyed being part of the team for the morning! 😊

Spring Planting Fun🌸

Now that spring is here, it's the perfect time for a planting activity we always enjoy!

Together we planted colourful flowers and fresh greenery, bringing a little bit of spring into our garden🌹

Gardening is a wonderful way to spend time outdoors, get our hands in the soil, and enjoy the beauty of the new season.

Chinese New Year celebrations this week have been in full swing🐉

Everyone enjoyed a lovely lunch, and afterwards our staff visited the oriental supermarket to pick up some snacks for everyone to try😋

We all loved watching a traditional parade together and spent some time learning about the culture and traditions surrounding the celebration, everyone had a great day 🥰
