Our residents had a wonderful time at St Matthew’s Church for their carol service and festive lunch⛪

They loved singing the carols, sharing stories over a warm lunch, and the chance to chat with the local community 🤝

We're very lucky to have such a beautiful community hub right on our doorstep!

Painting has become a real passion for her, and in her favourite spot by the window, she’s created a wonderful replica from the book!

Hairdresser Joanne has been at Escan since we opened, and we all love it when she visits🥰

Our residents look forward to a Thursday when they sit and chat with Joanne!

We would like to welcome Hazel as our new home manager at Escan Manor✨

Hazel grew up in Exeter and became a nurse in 1987👩‍⚕️

She has worked in health care for over forty years in the UK and abroad. Hazel has experience in both private and NHS settings!

She began her career in cardiac nursing before moving into management, later earning a BSc in Health Service Management🥰

Hazel is committed to compassionate, high-quality care. She enjoys helping staff grow and reach their goals💪

Hazel is a proud member of the Nurses Guild and was named Home Manager of the Year at the National Care Awards in 2022.🏆

Outside work, she enjoys yacht sailing and walking. She is happy to be back in Devon.

She looks forward to meeting and working with everyone at Escan Manor♥️
