Cervical screening is a simple, routine test that helps detect early changes before they turn into cervical cancer.

It’s completely normal to feel a bit nervous, many people do. Our friendly Nursing team will take time to explain everything, answer your questions, and help you feel at ease throughout your appointment. You can also bring someone with you and go at a pace you're comfortable with. 💛

Keep an eye out for your cervical screening invitation and book your appointment when it arrives.

When you book an appointment with a doctor, nurse, or healthcare professional, that time is set aside just for you. If you can’t attend, please let us know in advance.

Missed appointments mean valuable clinical time is lost, and other patients have to wait longer to be seen. By attending your appointment, or cancelling in good time, you help us provide care more efficiently and fairly for everyone in our community.

If you’re unable to attend, please call 01392 255722 and select option 1 to cancel or reschedule. A quick phone call allows us to offer your appointment to another patient who may be waiting.
